WEEE/RoHS (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, WEEE-2002/96/EC &the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, RoHS-2002/95/EC)
European Union has implemented a restriction on importing on any electrical applicants and equipment containing six toxic substances, which are Pd, Hg, Cd, Cr+6, PBB and PBDE since July 1st, 2006. The details of this regulation are as follows:
- A maximum concentration value of 0.1%(1000ppm) by weight in homogenous materials for lead, mercury, hexavalent, chromium, ploybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and ploybrominated diphenly ethers (PBDE) shall be tolerated.
- A maximum concretion value of 0.01% (100ppm)by weight in homogenous materials for cadmium shall be tolerate.
The purpose of these two restrictions of European Union is to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment and set up recycle and reuse system. Eventually, these can lessen the damage and hazard to human and environment when dumping, burying, and burning those toxic substances.
Being an environmentally-friendly and sustainable company, GL GASES has obtained certificates which meet the regulations of European Union.
Structure
The key to take good care of instruments cases is the design of the main structure, the strength and quality of the materials, accuracy of assembling, and the characteristics of shockproof of materials.
Our company possesses thirty-year’s good experiences to meet the criteria in order to guarantee best quality of duration of instrument cases.
Besides, our vision is to provide high quality instrument cases by keeping testing structures and parts in order to acquire good parts and materials for developing new products.
